A valid passport

ECO SOMA cannot provide immigration, visa, passport, or legal advice and is not responsible if a participant is delayed, denied boarding, denied entry, or otherwise unable to attend because required documents or entry conditions have not been satisfied.
Group Transportation
The retreat fee includes scheduled group shuttle transportation:
From the designated meeting location in San José to El Nido Uvita on the morning of January 24, 2027
From El Nido Uvita to the designated return location in San José on the morning of January 30, 2027
Participants are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting location by the communicated departure time.

Specific shuttle times, meeting locations, contact details, and arrival instructions will be provided to accepted participants before registration and deposit.
Accommodations & Retreat Location
ECO SOMA is hosted at El Nido Uvita, a private retreat center in Uvita, Costa Rica. The retreat fee includes six nights of accommodations within the retreat center, according to the occupancy option selected during registration.
The retreat center provides private bathrooms, air conditioning, retreat facilities, and controlled accommodations for the ECO SOMA group.
Participants acknowledge that El Nido Uvita is located in a tropical environment. Weather, wildlife, insects, road conditions, internet access, utilities, transportation, and other local conditions may differ from those commonly experienced in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Europe.
These differences are a normal part of traveling and staying in Costa Rica and do not, by themselves, constitute a failure to provide the retreat as described.
Local Services & Conditions
ECO SOMA carefully coordinates the retreat center, scheduled group transportation, meals, programming, and included excursions. Certain services may be provided by independent Costa Rican businesses, contractors, guides, drivers, chefs, or venue operators.
Service standards, transportation conditions, infrastructure, medical resources, emergency response times, utilities, accessibility, and communications may differ from those available in a participant’s home country.
ECO SOMA will make reasonable efforts to provide a safe, comfortable, and well-supported retreat experience. However, ECO SOMA cannot guarantee uninterrupted utilities, internet or cellular service, specific weather conditions, the absence of insects or wildlife, or the availability of services equivalent to those found in another country.
Personal Travel Arrangements
ECO SOMA is responsible only for the accommodations, programming, meals, scheduled transportation, and other services expressly identified as included in the retreat fee.
Participants remain responsible for:
International and domestic airfare
Transportation outside the scheduled group shuttle
Hotel accommodations before or after the retreat
Passport, visa, immigration, and entry requirements
