Local seasonal meals
Local chefs source ingredients from nearby farmers and fishermen: tropical fruits, locally caught fish, organic vegetables, and Costa Rican dishes with a modern twist.
Stay
Single or double rooms
Accommodations are single or double occupancy, with private bathrooms and A/C in all rooms. Vegan, pescatarian, omnivore and other dietary needs will be met with intention.

Cameron is a movement-based expressive arts therapist and somatic ecologist who explores the connection between the body and the natural world as a source of healing, creativity, and belonging. A Tamalpa Life/Art Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience, she leads retreats, supports trauma recovery, and teaches somatic expressive arts in Asheville, NC and Uvita, Costa Rica.

Kate is a somatic movement and expressive arts educator and coach who explores the wisdom of the moving body as a source of awareness, creativity, and authentic expression. A Registered Somatic Movement Educator with BA and MFA degrees in dance, she leads retreats, teaches embodied mindfulness, and guides nature-based experiences that deepen connection to self and the living world.
Kate & Cameron met in 2009 at Sea Ranch, Ca.
They met during a place-based expressive arts retreat led by Soto Hoffman while studying at the Tamalpa Institute with Daria and Anna Halprin. They have actively imagined working together ever since, and are excited to offer this eco-somatic movement retreat in Costa Rica 18 years later. Kate and Cameron are both ISMETA Registered Somatic Movement Therapists and Educators and Tamalpa Life/Art Practitioners.
